All because of you and your AMAZING books I am now CRAZY about murder mysteries. I also enjoyed the guggenheim mystery, but that could never, ever ever get as good as murder most unladylike. I. LOVE. DEATH. SETS. SAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I put off reading it for so long (because I was so scared of one of them dying) but it was so amazing. Congratulations Robin! Before I read it I suspected that daisy wouldn’t die and would walk in daisyishly, but I still cried when Heppy almost killed daisy (I thought my theory was wrong). And then I cried again when I found out daisy was still alive. I NEVER would have guessed it was heppy! I had so MANY theories, but robin still outwitted me! I’m so so so so soooooo happy daisys not dead! This book had so many great plot twists and was so EXCITING! I REALLY REALLY REALLY loved reading it it was amazing. DSS is DEFINATELY my favorite MMU along with Death in the spotlight. You did such an amazing job Robin! It was so clever with the whole sleepwalking thing. I love that mr wong finally accepted hazel detecting and supported them! I also really love George and Lavinia (I never would have thought but I still love it!) and obviously Alexander hazel Amina and daisy. Aminas secret code was so sweet! I feel really sad even though daisys alive because I almost love her. This book felt so different from the other MMU books. It felt a lot more emotional and real.

And I'm sure they will be a little disappointed when they discover that Daisy normally doesn't write her own chapters. I love how Daisy got a voice in this novella and how having both Hazel and Daisy chapters made us see the contrast between these two girls. I often get this feeling where I almost seem to choke with happiness. This happened about five times in this book – which is probably a record!

You said at the beginning that the book was a roller coaster to write but it was well worth the effort. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you enjoyed writing it even if it was a bit difficult. Robin said that May will be 10 in MOUA so D&H will be around 19. I really hope they’re in the new series!

It was amazing. I read it all in a day, and couldn’t stop reading! When Daisy died, I almost cried. Almost! But it seemed so unreal that I didn’t. When she turned out alive, I ran up to my mum and hugged her so hard! I read it again for good measure. For some reason, it’s almost always the end of your (Robin Stevens’) books that I re read and love the most. I can’t wait for 2022!

I totally agree and I loved the part where Rose was willing to sacrifice herself for her sister and I was just so touched but somehow I forgot to mention that in my last message! I would really like to see this book in the shops, so please could you type it up after you’ve finished May Wong’s book (I’ve forgotten the name). I don’t think I’ve ever read a book with more plot twists than this one, and I loved Amina and Daisy’s relationship. I would never have guessed it was Heppy! I can’t believe the series is over already! I can’t wait for MOUA to come in 2022. This book was definitely a fitting send-off for the Detective Society, and I loved every second of it. 11/10 Married: Hazel Wong and Alexander Arcady, Lavinia Temple and George Mukherjee. Other characters: Daisy Wells and Hazel’s children. A day The victim is a female athlete, a swimmer who could have won the Olympics. Great touch, and a great loss (Hazel realises that).

Hey!! what was aminas coded message? It was quite hard to see as I listend to it on audible i didnt read it!! love to know!! I just wanted to say thank you, thank you so, so, so much! For being my favourite author of all time! I have showed the books to my friends who also enjoy them, and me and my cousin are probably the biggest murder most unladylike fans YOU WILL EVER MEET! I have always wanted George and Lavinia to get together, right from the start even though they never met and O my gosh, I never thought that wish would come true! I absolutely love this book. I had to take breaks to sit and cry whenever hazel wrote about who daisy was going to die, I literally jumped for joy when I found out daisy was alive. I loved how Amina and daisy got together and I am so happy hazel finally kissed Alexander, I was shoked to hear about lavina and George but also really happy. I did not expect it to be heppy and that is what I love about these book when I nears the end you think you know exactly who did it and the plot twist everything you thought you one got down the drain. I really hope you write more stories about daisy and hazels future and about their missions with uncle Felix and aunt Lucy, because I don think I can wait till 2022 to read about the detective society. This has got to be the best book series I have ever read I loved it. I agree I am not sure if daisy is dead or if she is actually alive but apart from that it is one of my favourites but I think my favourite is probably jolly foul play. But it’s so hard to choose!Omg. Righ so that book was awesome. Best. Book. Ever. I think just seeing how beautiful it was, then seeing my name and detective society forever in the front made me smile. I loved the book more than words can express and that ending was so lovely; it would bring a smile to anyone. And it was sad to think that ‘ that was the last time I’ll ever read a new detective society case’ gahhh I’m crying think about it. I think we should right a new series about daisy and hazels new adventures, fanfiction, who’s in?
