As she experimented with her powers, Elsa tested the limits of her abilities by creating an ice palace for herself. After constructing the palace, Elsa cast away her crown, affirming her desire to leave the past in the past and live out her days in solitude.

In the Disney Infinity series, the palace appears as part of the Chill in the Air sky that is activated by a Power Disc. In Elsas Ice Castle, get ready to test your building skills! Our coolest Queen Elsa wants to build an ice castle for herself and she dreams of creating the tallest castle possible! Can you help her design her ice castle? Have fun playing! Although it doesn't appear on the show, it is referenced when Elsa asks Ingrid if she has ever built an ice palace. When Elsa arrives in Storybrooke, Ingrid builds a small model ice palace, which bares resemblance to Elsa's, when it's in the process of being created. At the end of Frozen Fever, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven escort the Snowgies to the ice palace which becomes their new home. There will be some more ice ledges above you that you can airstep to. Do this and you'll find yourself in the Middle Tier of the labyrinth. Go up the bridge into the next room and it's time for yet another fight with the ninja Nobodies. Once done, spin around the huge ice pillar. The chandelier in Elsa's palace fell as a result of a bolt striking through the support attaching it to the ceiling. Though Elsa wished to be left alone, Anna managed to find her way to the palace with the aid of Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. Upon reaching the palace, both Anna and Kristoff expressed their admiration of the structure; the ice harvester was especially impressed, remarking that he "might cry" and that the staircase leading to the palace was "flawless". However, Kristoff was disappointed upon hearing that he would have to wait outside before he could enter.
